The Holiday Wishes Christmas Parade will dash, dance and prance through the heart of Carrollton, December 5, starting at 5:30 p.m.
“We are looking forward to another magical Christmas parade in downtown,” said Carrollton Main Street Director Aundi Lesley. “Special thanks to the Optimist Club for volunteering to help with the parade each year.”
The Optimist Club of Carrollton will be the parade’s grand marshals this year.
The procession of floats, cars and trucks, walking groups, marching bands and Santa Claus will begin its journey at the Depot on Bradley Street, cross Adamson Square and finish up at the Neva Lomason Library on Rome Street.
This year, there will be barricades lining the parade’s route through the square and in heavily congested areas along the way to enhance safety for both spectators and parade participants.
“We ask that everyone stay behind the barricades to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all,” said Lesley.
