Dollar General is planning a new store at the corner of Rockmart Highway (GA-101) and Cochran Road, near the Highway 120 intersection—right across from Union Elementary School.
The project includes site work and construction of a 10,640-square-foot, one-story retail building. Located just north of Temple in the Union Community, the store is part of Dollar General’s continued expansion into growing areas.
This new location aims to provide added convenience for local families and commuters, offering easy access to everyday essentials. Construction is expected to begin soon, though no official opening date has been announced.
The development will bring new jobs and serve as a much-needed spot for quick pick-up items and food.
