The first retailer for Hudson Mill was confirmed earlier Saturday via a Facebook post by a small business from Villa Rica, GA. A new boutique, by the name of Grayestyle will move from the Local Color Art Studio in Villa Rica to the new Hudson Mill project behind the Amp in Downtown Carrollton. The confirmation of the new boutique adds to the ever-growing line-up at Hudson Mill. Currently Brown Dog Deli, Moe’s Original BBQ, Old Crow Trading Company are under construction and set to open very soon. Grayestyle Boutique will announce an opening date in the near future. Old Crow Trading Company is also under construction, which will feature market goods and artisan wares. A few more announcements are in the works for Hudson Mill, which should happen in the next few weeks if not earlier. You can count on us to let you know! Scroll down to see the recently improved smokestack! It now reads, Hudson Mill.
Below is a Facebook post from the owner of the new boutique:
Big things are happening for us at Grayestyle and Local Color! We are excited to announce that our boutique, Grayestyle, will be moving to Carrollton. We are super excited to be a part of the new Hudson Mill project behind the Amp off of the downtown square. Unfortunately, we will not be taking the studio with us because it is just too much for me to run both businesses. We will be having a huge business moving and indoor yard sale at our studio on gold rush weekend and will continue until it is gone. There are tons of art supplies, tables, chairs, signage letters, girls and baby clothes, baby items, home items and furniture for sale. Please stop by and check out what we have. Also, if you or your child has artwork at our studio you will need to pick up before the end of the month please.
To my friends, family and all Local Color supporters: THANK YOU! Thank your for supporting me and my dream. Thanks for stopping by to say hello or just to see our cool little place. Thanks for all the advise and encouragement. Thanks for everything! Each and every one of you have a special place in my heart and we couldn’t have made it this long without each and every one of you. I have struggled for months with questioning my purpose; my purpose in my home, my job, my hometown and community and especially my faith and how I can be a blessing to others. Many doors have been closed and we feel that this one has opened for a reason. We are excited for this opportunity and love the vision of the plan for this new place. I ask that you pray for my family and business as we make this new venture. Grayestyle and Local Color will be open in Villa Rica until October. We would love for y’all to visit us at our new location. We will be announcing that opening date soon.
