New construction was spotted just before the Easter Holiday on Maple Street directly next to the Mansion. According to the property owner, May Lin, a 10,000 square-foot shopping strip is being constructed. 5,000 square feet of the building will become a new restaurant. Details on that are pending for a later date. At this time May Lin tells us that she is currently looking for new businesses for the shopping strip. If interested in leasing one of these spaces you can call 404-273-1746. The shopping strip should be ready by the end of 2017.
A new restaurant is also slated to open in the next few weeks at the Maple Street Mansion. As you might recall, Seoul of Carrollton closed a few months ago, and now a brand new concept with a similar name will open. SOUL of Carrollton will offer southern soul food cooking.
