A new bubble tea shop is being planned to open in the Tower Plaza shopping center on Bankhead Highway. According to officials from the City of Carrollton, a business application was submitted for a new business called Got Bubblez ?, which will be located at 563 Bankhead Highway.
Got Bubblez ? will open in the space that was the former home of a Subway location, which recently moved to a free-standing drive thru in the Tower Plaza Shopping Center.
According to the business application received by the City, the business activities description for Got Bubblez ? is stated as selling iced teas with toppings, which is known as bubble tea.
Bubble tea is known as a cold, frothy drink which is made with iced tea, sweetened milk or other flavorings, and usually with sweet, black “pearls” made from tapioca. The bubble tea craze has sparked many new locations in the Atlanta area in recent years.
