A Shell gas station and car wash is currently under construction at the corner of Lower Fayetteville Road and Newnan Crossing Boulevard. Plans were submitted to the Newnan Board of Zoning in January 2019 calling for a 6,000-square-foot retail space and a 2,000-square-foot car wash. Construction began in 2020 and appears to be nearing completion. The retail building is split between the convenience store and space for another tenant, although The City Menus is not aware of a signee for that space yet. No word on when construction will be completed.
