As 2023 turned, so did a few businesses in downtown Newnan. This happens occasionally as leases renew and life changes occur. Most recently we noticed signage on the doors of Newnan Bazaar that stated, “Thanks for all of your kind support and patronage over the past year. It was our privilege to have served you. However, there is good news. A new consignment store will be opening in this location in early January. It’s a new company with a new owner. So, please welcome Little Southern Home Marketplace!” The new store looks to have candles and other home decor. We hope to hear more from the owner soon.
Just across the street, Frios has made the decision to go fully mobile and also have a popsicle selection in a freezer inside Cakes by Debbie next door. M+G Marketplace will soon open in its place. Moving down Spring Street, the former 714 location has opened under the ownership of Chef Jarrod Reeder of Knife and Stone as The Coastal. The menu features cocktails and fresh seafood. You can click here to learn more about The Coastal.
In other recent news, Blue Fern Merchant has relocated just a mile down Greenville Street in the former Coca Cola building, 167 Greenville Street.
