Baker Bag Company Moves to Larger Space

Baker Bag Company has moved to a new location in Newnan, with more space, allowing customers to have more variety to shop from. The boutique opened in its new location January 31. The owner, Kathy Baker, will be accommodating two other small businesses, Warrior defenders and Connecting Hearts in her space. These two businesses will have their own room in the retail space. “I am happy to share [the space] with them because I love them,” Kathy said.

The former location was opened in the middle of October 2022. After acquiring the space, it took some time to make it look like a boutique as it was a former golf shop. “I really love that [new] space because I have more room to show off my stuff,” she said. “We have grown with the community,  and we have done so much to embrace the community.”

The merchandise the boutique carries is unique and is inspired by big designers like Louis Vuitton, Burberry, and Brahmin. Kathy clarified that she does not carry knock-offs of big designers, just products that are inspired by them, which makes them more affordable for shoppers.

Kathy also mentions, “Very soon we will have wine tastings, bible study, essential oil classes, grief counseling, self defense classes and much more. “

Baker Bag Company is located at 8 LaGrange Street, Newnan. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. with Friday hours extended until 7:00 P.M. Those who may have questions can contact the boutique at (215) 582-3432.
