The construction of River Birch Place at The Birches on Maple is advancing toward its completion this summer, as confirmed by Josh Chapman, president of Linco Development.

This development symbolizes a new era in senior living, progressing through its final stages to offer a blend of independent living, assisted living and memory care.

“The structure now stands ‘dried in,’ signifying our transition to the meticulous crafting of both interior and exterior elements,” said Chapman.

The project’s timeline remains on track — a testament to the expertise of the team and its collaboration with Ralin and Associates.

Upon completion of the construction phase, regulatory review awaits to ensure that River Birch Place meets the highest standards so residents can move in by fall 2024.

River Birch Place will offer a diverse range of living options, including 55 one- and two-bedroom independent living units, 52 assisted living units, and 29 memory care suites. Additionally, there are 18 two-bedroom independent living cottages for lease and single-family homes are available for sale in the active living neighborhood, The Preserve at the Birches.

The amenities and opportunities awaiting residents will allow for an active, connected and fulfilling community life. From the elegance of dining with table service at the in-house restaurant and the leisure offered by game rooms and a salon to the engagement found in the town hall theater and the tranquility of outdoor gardens and walking trails, every detail is crafted with well-being in mind.

The commitment to a wholesome lifestyle is further embodied in the wellness programs supported by Tanner Health’s Get Healthy, Live Well initiative, and in partnerships with the University of West Georgia and City Station, offering athletic, educational and faith-based activities.

As anticipation builds, developers are also in the pre-leasing stage of a retail strip at the community’s forefront, promising a selection of shopping and dining experiences to enrich residents’ lives further.

“Interest and leasing for River Birch Place has been robust, and we encourage anyone interested in learning more about the community to speak with one of our marketing associates as soon as possible,” said Chapman. “The Birches on Maple is excited to offer an unparalleled living experience, and we’re thrilled to share this journey with our future residents.”
