Keep Newnan Beautiful (KNB) will be hosting an Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. to promote environmental sustainability and responsible e-waste disposal in Newnan, Georgia. The event will take place at 25 LaGrange Street in Newnan.
As the digital age progresses, the constant turnover of electronic devices contributes significantly to electronic waste accumulation, posing serious threats to the environment if not managed properly. In line with their commitment to environmental stewardship, KNB is taking proactive steps to address this issue through this upcoming event.
Bring all old or unwanted electronics, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, routers, modems, gaming systems, and medical testing equipment. This event gives Newnan residents the opportunity to recycle their electronics responsibly while conserving resources and ensuring their data security.
KNB’s mission is to educate, motivate, and empower the individuals of Newnan, Georgia, to take greater responsibility for improving the community environment through litter prevention, beautification, and waste reduction. Through initiatives like the Electronics Recycling Event, they strive to empower the community to make environmentally conscious choices and work toward a more sustainable future.
