Delta Community Credit Union is pleased to announce Darlene Prudente as manager of its Newnan-Coweta Crossroads Branch.
Prudente brings 18 years of banking experience to her role, having previously served as a manager at Heritage Bank before joining Delta Community in 2020. Beginning as a teller with the credit union, her professionalism, positive attitude and leadership skills enabled her to quickly advance her career. She held multiple roles in various departments before being appointed to lead the Newnan-Coweta Crossroads Branch.
“I look forward to helping my team develop into the best versions of themselves,” Prudente said. “Having held many positions during my professional journey, I can draw from many unique experiences to ensure we provide members with the best customer care while supporting them in their financial goals.”
With approximately 37,000 members living or working in Coweta County, Prudente understands many families rely on Delta Community for their financial services.
“I was attracted to this branch because I enjoy staying busy,” she said. “I am excited to meet the existing demand from our strong membership base in the area, while also welcoming new members to join the Delta Community family.”
Having previously worked at Delta Community’s Newnan-Highway 34 branch earlier in her career, Prudente is excited to work in the community again. She looks forward to partnering with local schools and organizations through the credit union’s programs that teach budgeting and financial literacy to students.
