The Avenue Peachtree City, an outdoor lifestyle shopping center, is gearing up to celebrate the earth with a Planet Party. The event is set to be held on Saturday, April 20 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to host an educational and interactive event in celebration of Earth Day at The Avenue Peachtree City,” said Jonathan Andrews, general manager at The Avenue Peachtree City. “Our goal is to actively promote sustainability in the community and show that caring for the planet can be accessible, easy and fun.”
Free and open to the public, the local community is invited to celebrate the earth at The Avenue Peachtree City with recycling, planting and crafting activities including:
● Secure computer and electronic recycling
● Ted’s Montana Gril giveaways
● Arbor Day Foundation sustainability giveaway
● Earth Day coloring tables for kids
● Cornhole to play with family and friends
● Air-purifying plant giveaway, while supplies last
Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to check out new electric vehicles from Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta South while visiting the center.
