WGTC’s Dental Hygiene Class of 2024 Achieves 100% Pass Rate on CRDTS Exam

West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) is proud to announce that the Dental Hygiene Class of 2024 achieved a 100% pass rate on the Central Regional Dental Testing Services (CRDTS) exam.

As part of the requirement for licensure, the CRDTS exam assesses dental hygiene students’ professional knowledge, skills, abilities, and judgment on clinical skills to prepare them for dental hygiene practice.

Bailey Black of Senoia, Kiara Bolden of Dallas, Haylee Burgess of Heflin, Alabama, Citalli Cisneros of Kennesaw, Macy Edge of Tallapoosa, Mary Kathryn Ferguson of Newnan, Lucy Futral of Carrollton, Madison Langford of Villa Rica, Morgan McLeod of Bowdon, Sabrina Mooradian of Newnan, and Gabrielle Tolder of Atlanta will graduate with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from WGTC in May. After successfully completing a National Written Dental Hygiene Board Exam, all graduates will be prepared to enter the workforce as Registered Dental Hygienists upon licensure in Georgia or elsewhere.

“This is a group of hard-working students, and it is an incredible accomplishment for all of our students to pass on the first attempt,” Dental Hygiene Clinical Coordinator Melondy Martin said. “The world of dentistry will soon have another great group of oral health leaders.”

The Associate of Dental Hygiene is an 83-credit hour program. Upon completing this highly competitive and challenging program, students are prepared for employment in dental offices, community and educational settings, and public health and insurance industries.
