Dallas Gets New Convenient Car Service Location

A new car service location, Strickland Brothers 10-Minute Oil Change, is on its way to Dallas. The building will sit on 1.955 acres at 64 Ridge Road. The store offers many services with the most known to be the quick oil change where the car owner drives through the tunnel and can remain in the car while receiving the service. The best part is this 10-minute service can be done without an appointment. They also perform free courtesy checks with every oil change which include cabin air filter, wiper blades, tire check, power steering fluid, windshield wiper fluid, engine air filter, and front and rear exterior lights. Strickland Brothers also provides emission tests and state inspection services. They offer fleet services for businesses that have five or more cars, who can also receive discounts.

Strickland Brothers is named after the owner’s two sons, Tate and Beckett. The Strickland Brothers share their story on the website which says in 2012 Justin Strickland was working as a pit tech when he wanted his own auto business and paired with his employer at the time to purchase a full-service gas station in Welcome, N.C. During this time Justin dreamed of owning his own lube center. His grandfather surprised him with a $35,000 check to help him open his first Quick Lube. Justin and his business partner, Mark Agan opened their first facility in Greensboro, N.C. called Taterbugs after Justin’s first son, Tate. They ran the business full time until they sold it to acquire the capital to build a national brand. In 2016, the first Strickland’s Brothers 10-Minute Oil Change opened in Thomasville, N.C.  The second location opened in King, N.C. in 2018, and by the end of 2019 there were 13 total. In 2020, the first franchise location opened, and the year closed with 30 total locations. Most recently, 2023 ended with 227 locations.
