The Sewell Mill Foundation announced that Marcy Heath has been selected as the inaugural Chair of its Foundation Board of Directors effective August 1, 2024. The Sewell Mill Foundation and its primary sponsor board members will initiate their Compassion in Action program beginning this holiday season at Sewell Mill’s Christmas Open House on December 7th. Their focus in 2025 will be to support other philanthropic organizations to reach their monetary and directional goals of helping those in need.
Mrs. Heath, CEO of Inoventive Benefits Consulting and Insurance Solutions of the South, is a nationally recognized leader in the healthcare space with over 27 years of experience. She is a member of the Polk Haralson CASA board and former Rotarian and chamber of commerce board member. Mrs. Heath has supported various local charitable organizations such as the My Turn Sports League and Toys for Tots. Additionally, she provides scholarships for graduating high seniors and offers internship opportunities with her agency. She is a lifelong resident of West Georgia and is poised to make an immediate impact on the Foundation Board. “I am honored and humbled to serve in this important role and look forward to working with my board colleagues to address the issues most impacting the communities we serve,” commented Chairperson Heath.
