Renovation plans for a new Bath and Body Works at LaGrange Plaza were obtained today by The City Menus. The shopping center, located at 145 Commerce Avenue, is home to Publix, Petsense, Rainbow, and several other retailers. The popular personal care and fragrance retailer is expected to move into Suite 8, which will soon undergo a complete interior renovation. The space, located to the right of Rainbow, was previously occupied by a beauty supply store.
Additionally, it was noted that the orthodontist’s office in the plaza has temporarily closed.
Bath and Body Works currently operates a longstanding location at the LaGrange Mall, formerly known as West Georgia Commons. That location is actively hiring for various positions as the holiday shopping season approaches. It appears likely that Bath and Body Works will maintain dual locations in LaGrange, as the company does in many other cities. In Metro Atlanta, for example, Bath and Body Works operates stores directly across from one another, with mall and freestanding locations serving the same community.
The new LaGrange Plaza location will be situated approximately four miles from the existing store at the mall.
