Developer, R.H. Ledbetter Properties, LLC along with broker Mike Patterson who is representing the landowner provided an update on the new Carrollton Flats development. The new development will bring a mix of residential and commercial projects to the area north and south of Centennial Road. The exact address of the property is 180 Centennial Drive, which is in the area adjacent to Central High School Road.
The centerpiece of the development will be a multi-family apartment community with 210-240 units spread across eight different buildings. According to Patterson, the apartments will be “pet-friendly” with amenities like a pool, clubhouse, dog park, and walking trails. The clubhouse/leasing office is 4,667 square feet on its own. He added the entire center of the complex will be “big [and] pet-friendly.”
In addition to the residential component, the development will also include around 3.5 acres of commercially-zoned land to the south of Centennial Road. While the specific plans for this commercial space are still being finalized, Patterson mentioned they are considering “several different things to do with it.” One confirmed tenant for the development is a medical office, still working through finalizing a contract. Patterson said the details of that user have not been publicly disclosed yet. The Carrollton Flats project will bring new housing and commercial options to the area.
Patterson along with the developer indicated they would follow up with more details on the apartment plans and commercial offerings as the development progresses.
