Jack’s Family Restaurant in Carrollton is finally seeing the long-anticipated renovations we first reported in 2023. Construction crews and materials have been spotted at the location at 1190 North Park Street, near the intersection with Georgia Highway 113, signaling the start of a major transformation.
According to previously discovered renovation plans, the regional restaurant chain aims to create a cozier and more modern experience for customers. The exterior facade will undergo a complete overhaul, with the current brick and stucco being replaced by a combination of a stone wall on the bottom and board-and-batten siding on the top. In addition, the existing shrubbery will be removed to make way for a new front-porch style walkway, enhancing the building’s curb appeal.
Inside, the renovations are equally extensive. The entire dining area will be stripped down and rebuilt, featuring new flooring, ceilings, cabinets, and tables. A standout feature will be the addition of a faux fireplace with a TV mounted above it, similar to the design found at the Bremen location.
The restrooms will also receive significant upgrades, bringing a fresh, modern look to the facilities. While the corporate office had been accepting bids for the project until October 25, it’s now clear that the renovation process is underway. There is no official word yet on how drive-thru service hours will be affected during construction.
