Bremen City Schools recently celebrated its annual system-wide Spelling Bee, showcasing the linguistic talents of students across grades 4 through 8. The competition, held at Bremen Middle School, brought together the top spellers from Bremen Academy and Bremen Middle School for a spirited contest.
After multiple challenging rounds, Levi Edge, an 8th grader, emerged as the winner, earning the title of Bremen City Schools Spelling Bee Champion. Levi will now advance to the regional competition to represent Bremen City Schools. He was congratulated by Bremen City Schools Superintendent Shannon Christian in a moment captured to commemorate his achievement.
The event also highlighted the impressive skills of all contestants, who had dedicated time and effort to prepare for the competition. The contestants included Bretton Hall (6th grade), Emma Hall (7th grade), Gavin Engelbert (5th grade), Jagger Veitch (4th grade), Kennedy Boyd (7th grade), Caleb Demby (4th grade), Scout Rotger (5th grade), and Carley Culpepper (6th grade). Each student represented their respective grades with poise and determination. The group was joined for a celebratory photo by Bremen Academy & Bremen Middle School Principal Brian Evans and Superintendent Shannon Christian.
