The Carroll Symphony Orchestra will present a concert of masterworks – including Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no. 3 – February 7 at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center.
“The fanfare of John Williams’s Star Wars will open this exciting concert,” said the CSO’s conductor, Terry Lowry. “We’ll close out the concert with my Symphony no. 2 – a pretty unusual symphonic work that includes electric bass and drum set. This program is full of high energy music people of all ages will enjoy.”
In addition to the Beethoven concerto and Lowry symphony, the CSO will present the winning compositions from the 2024 statewide CSO Young Composer Competition.
Tickets for the performance are $20 for adults, $10 for youth and are on sale at the Carrollton Center for the Arts’ box office or online at carrolltonarts.com.
