Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Launches L.I.F.T., A New Leadership Program

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce proudly kicked off its inaugural L.I.F.T. (Leaders Impacting the Future Today) Program on January 30th, 2025, held at the Chamber office. This year-long leadership initiative is designed to equip emerging professionals in their 20s and 30s with the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to advance their careers and positively impact their community.

Participants in the L.I.F.T. Program will attend monthly sessions covering essential topics for professional and personal growth. The first session, part of the program’s Personal Leadership Series, was led by Ms. Lantz Ferrell of the University of West Georgia, who provided valuable insights on leadership development and career success.

The Chamber extends a special thank you to our Leadership Development Sponsors, whose generosity and investment in our business community made this program possible:

  • 3:16 Healthcare
  • Addison Smith Mechanical Contractor, Inc.
  • Southwire Company
  • University of West Georgia
  • State Farm Insurance – Jill Pierce
  • Apollo Occupational Health

Applications for the L.I.F.T. Program are accepted annually, with each cohort experiencing a series of interactive sessions designed to foster leadership skills, community engagement, and professional development.
