The Carroll County Branch of the NAACP is thrilled to announce the makeup date for its highly anticipated 27th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade. Originally scheduled for earlier in the year, the parade will now take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Downtown Carrollton, Georgia.
Participants and attendees are asked to arrive by 9:00 AM to ensure a smooth and timely start. The parade route will kick off at 306 Bradley Street, proceeding through downtown Carrollton and passing by the Neva Lomason Library.
Honoring Dr. King’s Legacy: “Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow: The Dream is Forever”
This year’s theme, “Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow: The Dream is Forever,” celebrates Dr. King’s enduring vision for equality, unity, and justice. The theme serves as a reminder that Dr. King’s dream remains relevant, inspiring progress in every generation.
