Shoppers in LaGrange may have noticed the ongoing closing sale at Big Lots, but there’s good news—this location isn’t shutting down for good. Variety Wholesalers, the new owner of Big Lots, is planning to keep the store open, although it will temporarily close for remodeling before reopening under its new management.
A store team member shared over the weekend that while the closing sale is happening now, the location will be refreshed and eventually reopen. A soft opening announcement is expected soon, though no exact date has been set.
While LaGrange’s store is being saved, the Big Lots locations in Carrollton and Newnan will not be as fortunate—they are set to close permanently.
For now, shoppers looking for deals can take advantage of the closing sale, but it won’t be long before a newly remodeled version of Big Lots (or potentially a new concept from Variety Wholesalers) makes its return to LaGrange.
