Carrollton’s well-loved La Finca Mexican Restaurant is preparing for a new chapter. Late Wednesday night, co-owner Alexander Terrell shared an announcement on Facebook: La Finca will be relocating from Bankhead Highway to The Birches on Maple Street later this year.
The move is a major step forward for the restaurant, which was originally founded in 2015 by Terrell’s mother. Over the years, La Finca has built a strong reputation for its authentic flavors, welcoming atmosphere, and dedication to quality dining.
The new location at The Birches on Maple isn’t just a change of address—it’s the beginning of something special. Terrell shared that the new restaurant will offer a completely different dining experience—one that will not disappoint.
Construction is already underway, with plans to open later this summer. In the meantime, the current Bankhead Highway location will remain open until the transition is complete.
La Finca’s move to The Birches on Maple adds another locally owned restaurant to this growing development. The restaurant will be in great company, joining other well-known businesses such as Huck’s on Maple, another locally owned establishment, and Charred Oak, a popular spot based out of Columbus.
As more businesses prepare to open at The Birches, the area is quickly becoming a vibrant destination for dining, shopping, and entertainment in Carrollton.
Anticipation is growing as La Finca prepares to bring its fresh vision to The Birches. Keep an eye on the restaurant’s social media pages and The Birches’ “Coming Soon” list for updates on the grand opening date and special announcements.
As Terrell put it, “We are super excited to start this new chapter for our company.” And with so much enthusiasm surrounding the move, it’s clear that Carrollton is eager to see what’s next for La Finca.
Stay hungry, Carrollton—La Finca’s next chapter is just around the corner!
