LaGrange is about to get a little more serious with pickleball. The Lazy Pickle–a brand-new, indoor, pickleball facility–is coming to The Rail District, bringing a mix of recreation, social fun, and, of course, a great place to enjoy a drink after a match. Located at 206 East Depot Street, this new spot will be a go-to for everyone in the LaGrange area to enjoy.
Once construction is complete, The Lazy Pickle will feature:
- Five indoor pickleball courts – No need to worry about the weather ruining your game!
- A full bar – Because a refreshing drink after a match just makes sense
- Membership-based play – Giving members full priority access
- Cosmic Pickleball – A fun, glow-in-the-dark pickleball experience that will take night games to the next level.

Currently, construction crews are finishing the court surfacing, adding the bar, and completing bathrooms. While there’s still work to be done, excitement is building for this one-of-a-kind venue in LaGrange.
The Lazy Pickle isn’t the only exciting thing happening at The Rail District. This revitalized space is becoming a vibrant, multi-use area that brings together entertainment, shopping, and community events.
- Crescent Station – Already finished and active, this space is helping bring new energy to the district. A stage is currently under construction inside, promising future live entertainment.
- Spring and Summer Market – The LaGrange Market will soon move to The Rail District, featuring 40+ vendors in an exciting new space.
With so much happening, The Rail District is shaping up to be the place to be in LaGrange. Whether you’re coming for pickleball, shopping, or just to enjoy the atmosphere, this area is buzzing with new opportunities.
Stay tuned for updates as construction nears completion—pickleball season is about to get a whole lot better!
