Carrollton residents will be stepping out for a powerful cause this spring as Southwire hosts its 2025 Walk for Water on Saturday, April 26 at Southwire Headquarters. The annual event, held in partnership with Water Mission, raises awareness and funds to help end the global water crisis by bringing clean, safe water to communities in need.
The 3.1-mile walk represents the daily trek that millions of people—especially women and children—make to collect water, often from unsafe sources. Participants will carry buckets filled with water for part of the route to experience what so many endure each day.
