It’s time for a spring clean with purpose—Keep Carroll Beautiful is once again hosting its Spring E-Recycling Event on APRIL 26TH, 2025, offering a great opportunity for residents to responsibly dispose of old electronics and unwanted tech gear.
Event Details:
- Carrollton Location: Southwire Campus, 1 Southwire Drive, Carrollton, GA 30117
- Villa Rica Location: Villa Rica V-PLEX, 2200 Carrollton-Villa Rica Hwy, Villa Rica, GA 30180
- Event Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
This free community event encourages residents to clear out closets, attics, and garages and bring in outdated or broken electronics for proper recycling.
Accepted Items Include:
- Cell phones and smartphones
- Analog phones and fax machines
- Computers, laptops, notebooks, and Chromebooks
- Computer accessories like keyboards and speakers (note: no wood-cased speakers)
- Printers
- All types of electronic cables
- Cameras, camcorders, and video equipment
- Radios, cassette players, CD/DVD players, and small speakers
- Televisions (CRT, LCD, and LED models – no wood-cased or console TVs)
- Household batteries (excluding power tool batteries)
Not Accepted:
- Large and small appliances (blenders, mixers, microwaves)
- Vacuums, lamps, and fans
- Personal grooming tools (hair dryers, clippers, razors)
- Power tools
- Thermostats and electric thermometers (save these for a Household Hazardous Waste event)
- Trash or general recyclables
