Central High School senior Taylor Haines was awarded the McDonald’s Leadership Award by local franchise owners David and Merry Neisler.
To be considered for the award the student must have a high grade point average, be active in both student and community events, as well as being grounded in good character. Taylor is an athlete as a member of the Lady Lions Golf Team and flag football team. She is a standout scholar and an active member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Interact Club, Environmental Club, Best Buddies, and Magnolias. She takes initiative to get things done and makes every space she’s part of a little better just by being in it.
Taylor was awarded a medallion to wear during graduation as well as a $500 scholarship. She has plans to attend Shorter University in the fall.
