Bremen City Schools Announces Dr. Tim Huff as Incoming Assistant 

The Bremen City Schools Board of Education is proud to announce the unanimous approval of Dr. Tim Huff as the district’s next Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, effective July 1, 2025. The board’s decision was confirmed during its regular monthly meeting on Monday, May 12, 2025.

Dr. Huff will assume the role following the retirement of district leader Zoe Evans, whose dedication to academic excellence has left an indelible mark on the school system. In this next chapter of leadership, Dr. Huff will oversee the district’s instructional programming, professional development, and curriculum alignment, while also sharing responsibilities in human resources management and strategic planning.

While transitioning into this new district-level role, Dr. Huff will continue to serve as Principal of Bremen High School for the 2025–2026 school year. The district intends to post the principal vacancy and begin the search for his successor during the next calendar year.

A veteran educator with nearly three decades of service, Dr. Huff began his career as a teacher and administrator in Lanier County, later serving as principal of both Turner County Elementary School and Turner County High School. Since 2013, he has led Bremen High School to unprecedented academic success, including:

• A rise in the graduation rate from 93.2% in 2013 to 97.8% in 2022

• Dramatic growth in Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement participation

• Recognition as an AP Challenge and AP STEM school for multiple years

• National and state-level rankings from SchoolDigger, Niche, & U.S. News & World Reports

Dr. Huff holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University, where he also earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in education. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he is an active community leader, known for organizing mission teams to Honduras since 2015 Bremen City Schools looks forward to the continued growth and innovation that Dr. Huff will bring to his expanded role. His experience, leadership, and unwavering dedication to student achievement position him to lead the district boldly into the future.
