This past Saturday, the Carroll County Humane Society hosted their very first annual carnival, and it was a great success. All proceeds went toward supporting the humane society’s ongoing efforts, and they also gathered donations to help out the Empty Pet Bowl program, which helps ensure no pet goes hungry. The turnout was fantastic, with plenty of folks from the community showing up—many with their dogs in tow—for a fun day of activities and support.
A few of the event’s generous sponsors included Wags and Whiskers Sitters, Clever Canidae, and Barks and Bubbles. One of the highlights was hearing from guest speaker Denise Fleck, a nationally recognized expert in pet first-aid and CPCR, and a published author. Overall, it was a day filled with friendly faces, wagging tails, and a whole lot of heart.
