2025 Dog Days of Summer Caregiver Conference Scheduled for July 24 in Newnan

Caregivers from across the region are invited to attend the 2025 Dog Days of Summer Caregiver Conference, taking place on Thursday, July 24, at the Coweta County Fairgrounds, located at 275 Pine Road, Newnan, GA 30263.

This free, one-day event is designed to educate, empower, and connect those who care for older adults. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. for registration and a complimentary breakfast, with the official program beginning at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at 2:00 p.m.

Conference sessions will cover a range of important caregiving topics, including supporting loved ones with dementia, accessing caregiver resources and support networks, and understanding wills and legal directives. Attendees will also hear a personal caregiver story that offers real-world insight and encouragement.

In addition to the educational programming, the event will feature an interactive Tai Chi demonstration to promote stress relief and physical wellness. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with vendors from an array of different fields, receive complimentary goodie bags, and enter to win door prizes. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, sponsored by Gordon Food Service.
