New Gas Station Coming to Thomas Crossroads Adjacent to Tim Hortons Development

A new convenience store and gas station is in the works next to the recently constructed Tim Hortons and AT&T development at the corner of Highway 34 East and Posey Road in Coweta County. The project, named “Pamir Market,” is part of Phase 2 of the site’s ongoing commercial development.

The property, located at 2744 Highway 34 East, is owned by Habiba Investments, L.  L. C. and spans approximately 1.92 acres. Phase 1 of the site introduced the Tim Hortons quick-service restaurant and AT&T retail space, along with infrastructure including entrance roads and stormwater systems designed to support further development.

Phase 2, according to documents submitted to Coweta County, includes the construction of a 4,576-square-foot building that will house a convenience store and a small carry-out restaurant. Plans also feature eight fuel pumps, 18 parking spaces (including two accessible spaces), and a dedicated right-turn lane on Posey Road as required by the county.

The new gas station will sit to the left of the Tim Hortons when viewing the development from Highway 34, and will share access via the existing private drive. Stormwater management improvements, including a modular retaining wall and enhancements to the existing pond, are also included in the project’s scope.

The site is zoned C-6 and falls within the Highway 34 Quality Development Corridor District. Once construction receives final approval from Coweta County, development is expected to begin shortly thereafter.

The project is being led by Abid Khutliwala of Habiba Investments, with engineering work by Rowland Engineering, Inc. and surveying by Travis Pruitt and Associates.

Additional updates on construction timelines and opening dates are expected following county approvals.
