Shoppers at Kedron Village may have noticed some changes underway at the local Target store. That’s because the retail giant is in the middle of a $2.2 million renovation project aimed at updating and refreshing the store.
According to construction permitting documents submitted to the City of Peachtree City in March 2025, the project includes a variety of tenant upgrades. The issued permit describes the work as involving “minor demolition, new finishes, lighting,” and other interior enhancements designed to modernize the store’s layout and improve the customer experience.

Renovations are already fully underway, though Target has not publicly announced a completion date. The upgrades are expected to align with Target’s broader national strategy to revamp existing stores, improve energy efficiency, and create a more seamless shopping experience for both in-store and online customers.
Target guests can expect to see ongoing construction activity in the coming weeks. The store remains open during the renovation, although some sections may be temporarily modified or blocked off as work progresses.
Peachtree City residents and regular Target shoppers are encouraged to stay tuned for further updates as the improvements take shape.
