While this project has been a bit outside of our usual coverage area here at The City Menus, we’re happy to share an exciting update for our readers and neighbors to the north: LongHorn Steakhouse and Dunkin’ are officially open in Rockmart off Highway 278.
These long-awaited openings mark a major milestone for the city and follow more than a year of anticipation. Coverage of this project was led by The Rockmart Podcast and Polk Today, and we’re joining in to help spread the word now that both locations are welcoming customers.
Micah Gravley, Georgia DOT Board Member for the 14th Congressional District, shared the announcement on his public Facebook page, praising the community leaders who helped bring the project across the finish line. He credited the “tireless and unwavering persistence” of Stacey Smith and Holly Langley, noting their dedication to seeing this effort through despite various challenges along the way.
Support from Senator Jason Anavitarte and Representative Trey Kelley also played a key role in making the project a success.
Both new locations—LongHorn Steakhouse for hearty meals and Dunkin’ for your coffee and donut fix—are now open and ready to serve Rockmart residents and visitors.
