The Newnan Carnegie Library Foundation and the Newnan Carnegie Library invites the community to join us for Books & Bites on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM for a morning of fun and exploration!
There will be activities for all ages! There will be a scavenger hunt that takes you on an adventure through the library’s festivities as well as delicious food from on-site food trucks, Kettleworks & Frios and a special culinary treat from Life of the South. Live music from DJ LA will keep you grooving. Kool Kidz will be offering creative face painting, and there will be fun arts & crafts for the kids. Storytimes will be held throughout the day with special guest readers including Elizbeth Webber from Newnan Book Co. If you don’t already have one, you will be able to get your very own Newnan Carnegie Library card and unlock a world of knowledge!
“Join us for a fun-filled morning and celebrate the joy of books, music, stories, and community,” says NCLF board member, Dale Bowers.
This event is free to the community and no registration is necessary. Food available until supplies last.
