Located near the soon-to-open Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q, the new Walk-On’s will add to the growing momentum of restaurants and retail in this active corridor. Known for its Louisiana-inspired menu and sports-driven atmosphere, Walk-On’s offers a unique dining experience centered around comfort food and community.
Founded in Baton Rouge by former LSU basketball walk-on Brandon Landry, the restaurant has earned a national reputation for delivering bold flavors and a high-energy environment. Signature items include Boom Boom Shrimp, Cajundillas, burgers, and Southern-style entrées—all served in a casual, family-friendly setting.
Although no opening date has been announced yet, the bidding process signals that progress is underway. Additional details on construction, hiring, and opening events are expected in the coming months.
