A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Villa Rica community at its newest location on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025 at 6 a.m., creating approximately 100 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Justin Day as the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Mirror Lake.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, Day and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day! Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, Guests of all ages are invited to join the fun. Anyone who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée* or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
Located at 380 Mirror Lake Blvd., Chick-fil-A Mirror Lake will serve Guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, catering and Mobile Thru.

“I’ve always believed that serving others is one of the most meaningful things you can do, and Chick-fil-A has given me the chance to serve a community that means so much to me every day,” said Day. “Villa Rica has been my family’s home for 18 years, and opening a second restaurant here is an incredible opportunity to deepen our roots, serve even more of our neighbors and continue investing in the community we love.”
Day began his career with Chick-fil-A more than 20 years ago and became a local Owner-Operator in 2002. In 2007, he opened Chick-fil-A Villa Rica, which he will continue to operate alongside the new Mirror Lake location. For nearly two decades, he and his family have played an active role in the restaurant and the community. Together they are eager to extend that same commitment to service and hospitality at their new location, Chick-fil-A Mirror Lake.
Caring for the Villa Rica Community
Day is committed to giving back to the Villa Rica community by:
- Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A, Inc. to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Atlanta area to aid in the fight against hunger.
- Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.
