“We’re excited to be the local hub for routines, spirit and style through our Back in the Saddle campaign,” said Kelly Lawrence, marketing manager at The Avenue Peachtree City. “From a 5K race to our personal item customization event, we’re offering the community fun, family-friendly experiences that help everyone ease back into the rhythm of the season.”

The Avenue Peachtree City’s Back in the Saddle campaign will feature a variety of exciting activities for people of all ages, including:

Labor Day 5K Race – Mon., September 1

In partnership with Fleet Feet Peachtree City, the center will host its annual Labor Day 5K Race from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. Participants will enjoy a scenic course filled with race-day energy, and post-run festivities including refreshments, music and giveaways. All paces are welcome including runners, walkers, strollers and dogs! Attendees can begin warming up by GYMGUYZ SW Atlanta at 7:50 a.m. Whether you’re aiming to beat your personal record or walking with friends and family, this event serves as a fun way to kick off the holiday while staying active. Registration is available now.

  • GYMGUYZ will host a free community fitness class in Central Park on the second Saturday of each month, continuing through January.

Back in the Saddle Customization Event – Sat., September 6

Celebrate the return to school and routine during the Back in the Saddle Customization event from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the center’s Fountain Court. Local embroidery vendor The Chainettes will help guests customize personal, non-stretch articles of clothing and bags including button-down shirts, utility shirts, denim, shorts, unlined jackets and more.
