Festivities kick off bright and early at 9 a.m. with a dog costume contest at The Amp, a crowd favorite sure to bring out creative outfits and wagging tails. At noon, football viewing begins and cornhole games will be happening throughout the afternoon, offering a laid-back way to enjoy the fall weather.

Live music will fill the air at Local Ties Brewing Company starting at 12 p.m. with performances by Evan Crowther (12–3 p.m.), Edie & Zoe (3:30–6:30 p.m.), and Deni Phoenix and the Fervor (7–10 p.m.). Meanwhile, over at Brown Dog Eatery, Oktoberfest-themed food will be served starting at 11 a.m. on the porch, adding to the festive atmosphere with seasonal bites and drinks.

With something for everyone — from pet lovers and sports fans to beer enthusiasts and foodies — Downtown Carrollton’s Oktoberfest promises to be a great way to kick off October in the community. Mark your calendars, bring your appetite (and your best-dressed pup), and enjoy a full day of local fun.
