A new exhibit at the Carrollton Center for the Arts will showcase the work of area school students, starting September 29.
School Arts presents funny, exciting and thought-provoking artwork by Carrollton and Carroll County students, elementary through high school.
“All the art is so much fun to peruse and I love seeing the talents of young artists evolve as they age,” said Visual Arts Coordinator Marcella Kuykendall. “You can see students move from delightful and imaginative elementary projects to highly individualized artworks with deep meaning by the time they are teens.”
The center will celebrate the show with a free public reception, October 2, 5pm – 7pm.
School Arts runs through October 30.
