New Dishes, Warm Hospitality: Charred Oak Opens Monday

Charred Oak is set to open its doors to the public this Monday at 11:00 a.m., after hosting invitation-only soft opening events. The restaurant will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Sunday brunch offered from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. before switching back to the full menu for the rest of the evening.

The team is in place. New staff went through a three-day orientation to get familiar with the restaurant’s values, operations, and recipes, with help from the Charred Oak team in Columbus.

The menu leans into Southern flavors with a few creative twists. Signature dishes include seafood pasta, shrimp and grit cakes, spicy fried green tomatoes, and a bourbon barbecue meatloaf. The peach cobbler is made with bourbon-soaked peaches and served hot in a skillet with a drizzle of bourbon maple syrup. Steaks are seasoned with a house blend you won’t find anywhere else.

For dessert, the Chocolate Eruption Cake is a crowd favorite—layers of rich, decadent chocolate that satisfy even the most serious chocolate cravings.

There’s also a private dining room available for groups; and to make parking easier during busy times, the restaurant is offering a golf cart shuttle from a nearby off-site lot.

Charred Oak brings something a little different to the table, combining bourbon-inspired touches with comfort food favorites, and it’s ready to welcome guests starting next week on Monday, October 20.

Charred Oak in Carrollton is located at 2235 Maple Street Suite E.
