TCR Towing & Recovery, a leading towing and recovery service provider in Georgia and Alabama, co-hosted an Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Day with Bremen Fire Rescue in September. This event brought together local emergency services, for a comprehensive EV training exercise aimed at enhancing inter-agency collaboration and response capabilities.

The training day, led by Jeff Romine, CSP, CPEA, CSMP, featured various scenarios designed to simulate real-world emergency situations, allowing participants to practice coordinated efforts in vehicle recovery and emergency response. TCR Towing & Recovery provided an EV for the exercise and showcased its state-of-the-art fleet and experienced operators, demonstrating best practices in handling EV recovery challenges.

TC Ray of TCR Towing & Recovery, stated, “We are committed to the safety of our communities and continuous improvement in emergency response. This training day is a fantastic opportunity for us to work alongside our first responders, share knowledge, and ultimately provide better service when it matters most.”

A Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) representative assisted in leading the training session, drawing upon both his years as a fireman and his experience in transportation. TCR is one of the only qualifying towing companies in the region who has achieved GDOT’s Towing and Recovery Incentive Program (TRIP) certification.

TCR, established in Bremen, GA in 1981, recently celebrated 44 years in business. Tommy Ray expanded the company’s presence along I-20, opening satellite offices in Carrollton, GA, and Heflin, AL. TCR has become a trusted choice for light and heavy-duty towing, hauling, roadside assistance, off-road recovery, equipment hauling, and rotator services across West Georgia and East Alabama.
