Tanner Health officially broke ground today on a major 74,000-square-foot expansion in Villa Rica, marking the latest step in its mission to redefine care in the region. The four-story addition will bring more than 25 new inpatient beds to the hospital and dedicate three full floors to women’s health services.
Highlights of the new space include expanded labor and delivery rooms, a new C-section suite, newborn and continuing care nurseries, as well as enhanced postpartum, imaging, and outpatient OB-GYN services.
The project also includes critical infrastructure upgrades to support heating, cooling, and emergency power—laying the groundwork for more advanced, reliable care in the years ahead.
