On November 1, 2025, Moonie Mart opened its doors in Buchanan, Georgia, introducing a fresh take on the classic country store. Founded by Grant Wallace, a farmer and entrepreneur featured on GPB and in Atlanta Magazine, Moonie Mart blends the nostalgia of a rural general store with the design and spirit of a modern café and community hub.
“Moonie Mart is about more than coffee or groceries,” says Wallace. “It’s about creating a place where neighbors, travelers, and families feel welcome — a store built on care, community, and the belief that small businesses can still surprise and inspire.”
