Crunch Fitness to Revitalize Former Conn’s Location in Newnan Pavilion

Crunch Fitness is bringing its signature “No Judgments” gym experience to Newnan Pavilion, taking over the former Conn’s HomePlus location at 1098 Bullsboro Drive, Suite 15, most recently home to Spirit Halloween. Located adjacent to Home Depot, the site will undergo a complete interior renovation to accommodate a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Construction plans for the project were officially released today to The City Menus, detailing a full build-out of the 34,729-square-foot space. The pavilion’s leasing map has not yet been updated to reflect Crunch Fitness as a future tenant.

The facility will feature a wide range of amenities tailored to group and individual fitness, including locker rooms, ADA-compliant restrooms and showers, tanning rooms, turf zones for functional training, and a Relax & Recover area with hydro massage lounges and cryotherapy services. Crunch’s signature group fitness and personal training programs will also have dedicated space within the layout.

No exterior site work is proposed under the current plans, though minor façade improvements are planned to reflect the Crunch Fitness brand.

The scope of work includes new HVAC distribution, updated fire alarm and sprinkler systems, and upgraded electrical and plumbing infrastructure to support the planned amenities. JPlus Architects Inc. is leading the design, with CR Fitness Holdings LLC listed as the franchisee.

Crunch Fitness operates more than 400 locations globally, combining boutique-style programming with a community-centered, high-energy environment. The Newnan location will offer a complete range of services, from cardio and strength training to group classes and recovery options.

The project is currently out to bid for a general contractor.
