Carrollton City Schools called on the Trojan Nation to honor those currently serving or who have served in the armed forces by having CCS families and staff submit the names of loved ones for recognition this Veterans Day. This year, a record-breaking 940 veterans were submitted and honored in the program throughout the day on Nov. 11. Since 2006, Carrollton High School’s Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (AFJROTC) program has hosted an annual ceremony honoring veterans.
