Carrollton on Ice – Carrollton’s seasonal open-air ice-skating rink – returns to East Carrollton Park, bigger and better than ever, November 24 – January 11.
Now in its second year, the newly expanded rink will again be housed under the Polar Pavilion at East Carrollton Park and feature skating and a spectator section for those who enjoy watching the icy action. There will be a variety of food trucks on-site during Carrollton on Ice’s run.
Individual tickets are $10 each, which includes skate rental, card only, payable at the rink. Private rentals are available on select dates. .
Special events will also accompany the arctic attraction:
Pictures with Santa: Patrons can bring their cameras and snap selfies with old Saint Nick himself. December 6, 12pm – 3pm; December 13, 2pm – 4pm and December 20; 2pm – 4pm.
The Merry Market: December 6, 10am–3pm. Shop, skate and snack while exploring giftable items produced by local artists, creators and makers.
Carrollton Parks and Rec will offer skating lessons on-site.
Mini Ice Skating Camp: November 24 – 26, 10am – 10:45am (ages 7 – 9); 11am – 11:45am (ages 10 –12) Three days for $30.
Beginner Ice Skating Lessons: December 3, 10, 17, 3 pm–3:45pm (ages 7 – 9); 4pm–4:45pm (ages 10 – 12). Three days for $30.
Participants are required to have long pants and gloves. Bike helmets are required for ages 7 – 9. Register on the Otto app. Call Carrollton Parks and Rec at 770-832-1161 with questions.
