Five Below Coming Soon to North Griffin Square, Opening Expected in 2026

A new Five Below is coming soon to North Griffin Square in Griffin, GA. The popular discount retailer will take over the space at 1649 North Expressway, which previously housed the Christian Women’s Center Thrift Store. That thrift store relocated in early November to the former Big Lots space within the same shopping center, paving the way for Five Below’s arrival.

Five Below is well known for offering a wide range of trendy and affordable products, with most items priced at $5 or below and a selection of premium items up to $10. Shoppers can expect everything from tech accessories and home decor to toys, beauty products, snacks, and seasonal goods—all within a lively, upbeat store environment designed to appeal especially to teens and young adults.

This upcoming location in Griffin isn’t the only expansion in the region. Five Below is also planning a new store in LaGrange on Commerce Avenue, reflecting the brand’s ongoing growth across Georgia and its aim to reach more communities in accessible, high-traffic retail areas.

While the Griffin store is expected to open sometime in 2026, no official buildout timeline has been shared yet. We reached out to Halpern, the company that manages and leases North Griffin Square, for more information, but had not received a response by the time of publication.

Stay tuned to The City Menus for updates as more details become available about Five Below’s opening and other new developments at North Griffin Square.
