Opened in March 2024, this second location of the family owned business is led on site by co owner Samantha Morgan, who says the Bremen store has quickly become her pride and joy.
According to Samantha, the decision to open in Bremen came through faith and timing. While the team had originally been looking further west, possibly toward Alabama, she said Bremen stood out clearly. She shared that the location, the opportunity, and the community all aligned at the right moment, and that the small town feel and welcoming nature of Bremen and the surrounding areas made it the perfect fit.
Metro Turf Bremen offers a wide selection of landscaping materials including mulch, pine straw, sand, gravel, and decorative stone available for pickup. The store has also expanded to include a growing selection of plants, shrubs, and trees, making it a convenient stop for outdoor projects of all sizes.
While many customers are homeowners tackling DIY projects such as refreshing flower beds, creating patios, or improving outdoor spaces, Metro Turf is also looking to grow its contractor base. The company is actively seeking to work with more contractors and is offering a wholesale program outside of its regular retail store for larger projects and professional crews. Business naturally slows during the colder months, but spring is already on the horizon. Samantha shared that once the weather warms up, demand picks up quickly as people are eager to get back outside and work on their yards.

Outside, the yard features open bays stocked with black and brown mulch, 57 gravel, M10 sand, river sand, and decorative options such as pea gravel, egg rock, white marble, and slate chips. Materials are sold by the scoop or by the ton depending on the product, and pricing is available online.

Outdoor plant offerings include evergreens, hydrangeas, azaleas, roses, blueberry bushes, raspberries, ground covers, shrubs, and perennials. Much of the selection is chosen specifically for Georgia’s climate, with an emphasis on durability, light requirements, and mature size so customers can plant with confidence.
The nursery area behind the store includes small greenhouses that rest during winter but are prepared to host palms, flowering plants, and perennials as spring approaches.
