(Monday, December 15, 2025, Carrollton, Georgia). Three Central High School seniors, Austin Ayers, Jaylon Allen, and Rhett Nelson signed to play baseball at the next level.
Austin Ayers pitched and played in the outfield during his time with the Lions. He plans to study Sports Marketing while attending Piedmont. Jaylon Allen has been a starter with the varsity baseball team, playing middle infield. He plans to study business and graphic arts at Wallace-Dothan. Rhett Nelson has been a starting pitcher for 4 years and played 3rd base. His plan is to study engineering at LaGrange College.
The players were joined by family, friends, and teammates for the ceremony and celebration.
